My name is Jiwoo Kim, and I am a Korean animator based in Calgary. I recently graduated from Alberta University of the Arts with a Bachelor of Design and a minor in Animation. My passion for animation comes from its ability to engage and connect with audiences. Through my artistic practice, I aim to retell everyday life and struggles in absurd and comical ways, offering new perspectives to navigate challenging situations. Currently, I am working on a personal project called Cowman, a story about unconventional love that explores the metamorphosis technique in animation.

I have experience working with kids as an animation facilitator and participate in local markets in Calgary from time to time.
